I am thrilled to share that we have received a new member application from Claire Burkitt

Claire was a former Rotary exchange student in high school and had a once in a lifetime experience of assimilating into another country's culture and became fluent in a second language. That experience deeply shaped her values, and desire to be part of Rotary to continue to create the same experiences for others. Additionally, she aims to live Rotary's mission of philanthropy and global citizenship.

She has served and volunteered for many charitable organizations including: Robin for Minneapolis, Open Arms, the 36th District Democrats, Puentes Seattle, along with her experience thru the Rotary Youth Exchange. She enjoys sewing and clothing design, skiing, cooking, travel and is a playground aficionado.

Claire holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Seattle Pacific University and a Project Management certificate from the University of Washington and works as a marketing operation project manager for Strategic Education, a publicly traded higher education company and parent company to Capella University and Strayer University.

She is excited to make new connections  (hopefully in-person soon!) and finding ways to be a benefit to our community both locally and globally.

Claire's sponsor is Ross Naylor.  Please contact Ross (rnaylor@alliiance.us) before May 24th, 2021, if you would like further information, have any questions or comments to Claire’s application for membership.
