November 11 is the annual awards program – where Minneapolis City of Lakes Rotary Club recognizes its members for their monetary contributions, dedicated service, and leadership to the club and the wider community.
In addition to recognizing monetary donations to the Minneapolis City of Lakes Rotary Foundation and the Rotary Foundation, the following awards will be given: the Merle Else Heart of Rotary Award (given to a club member dedicated to Rotary), the John Fischer Rotary Hope Award (given to a non-club member giving community members hope for the future), the Don Backstrom Service Above Self Award (given to a club member for exceptional District service), and the Richard Parrish Emerging Leadership Award (given to a newer club member engaged in the spirit of service within the club).
