Our Mission

We are dedicated to serving others, promoting integrity, and fostering world understanding, goodwill, and peace through our network of business, professional, and community leaders.

Our Causes

We focus on promoting peace, fighting disease, providing clean water and sanitation, saving mothers and children, supporting education, growing local economies, and protecting the environment.

Foundation and Fundraising Achievements

  • Raised $1.825 million for our local Foundation and contributed $1.12 million to The Rotary Foundation, powering grants with a multiplier effect.
  • Raised $169,000 for Rotary’s End Polio Now initiative, which is matched 2:1 by the Gates Foundation—fueling progress toward eradicating polio and protecting future generations.

Key Projects and Initiatives

Community Service

  • Hope Award: Presented $95,000 to local nonprofits for their efforts in fostering hope.
  • Community Forums: Co-sponsored nine annual forums with experts addressing mental health, public safety, climate, political polarization, artificial intelligence, and other areas of critical concern.
  • Education & Literacy: Donated more than 13,000 books and supported local educational programs.
  • Combating Sexual Exploitation: Partnered with A.C.T. United to educate 4,000 students on sexual exploitation.
  • Food Security: Funded 3,500 meals every year and packed 6,500 meals annually for food shelves.
  • Clothing & Essentials: Donated 35,000 hats and mittens and provided 2,200 holiday gifts to families in need. Donated financial and volunteer assistance to 3000 Acts of Kindness providing hope, help and resources to individuals experiencing homelessness.
  • Senior Assistance: Raked 425 yards for seniors and other challenged homeowners.
  • Community Enrichment: Built two musical instrument playgrounds and donated solar panels to a Habitat for Humanity home.

International Service

Our Global Grant projects, leveraging Rotary matches and direct gifts, have raised more than $1.1M to address urgent challenges for 17,000 of the world’s most vulnerable people. Highlights include:

  • $800,000 for clean water and sanitation systems in rural Honduras, benefiting over 14,000 people.
  • $280,000 for a water distribution and filtration system in Milla Tres, Honduras, serving 2,500 people.
  • $75,000 for the Mayan Women’s Prosperity Initiative, empowering 800 women in Guatemalan villages through small business cooperatives.

Other efforts include:

  • Sponsoring 86 Youth Exchange Students to build global goodwill.
  • Awarding two Minneapolis students $30,000 global grant scholarships for graduate studies abroad.
  • Partnering with Warsaw Rotary Club to provide 100 water filters for families in Ukraine.
  • Contributing $7,000 and volunteer hours to assemble feminine hygiene kits for 1,300 girls through Days for Girls.
  • Supporting Engineers Without Borders to build school facilities in Guatemala.
  • Providing $10,000 to Kiva, resulting in $40,000 in microloans and impacting nearly 80,000 women borrowers worldwide.
  • Invested $10,000 in The Nejo Ethiopia Project to support education in a conflict-affected region by creating a dedicated study space where more than 100 students prepare for national exams and teachers deliver lessons—strengthening both academic outcomes and community resilience.

Vocational Service

  • Contributed $120,000 over 15+ years in scholarships to Dunwoody College’s YCAP and Pathway to Careers programs.
  • Conducted 130 mock interviews with Dunwoody College YCAP students.
  • Supported Strangers Meeting Strangers with $2,000 Entrepreneurial Pitch Contest Awards, creating space for community connection and innovation.
  • Sponsored 200 students in Junior Achievement’s financial literacy and entrepreneurship programs.
  • Supported high school students to attend Rotary Camp Enterprise and RYLA, fostering leadership and entrepreneurship.
  • Funded the LEAD National Student Leadership Conference and National Student Council for FAIR School for Arts students.
  • Promoted professional growth through networking events, mentoring, and small group discussions.
