About Minneapolis City of Lakes Rotary Club
Founded in 1985 as a 'spin-off' club from the original downtown Minneapolis Rotary Club (Club #9), Minneapolis City of Lakes Rotary Club has grown to become one of the most vibrant and involved rotary clubs in District 5950.
The Minneapolis City of Lakes Rotary Club includes members with diverse experience and backgrounds in a variety of vocational fields including law, finance, real estate, financial planning, architecture, technology and executive coaching. City of Lakes Rotary Club members join and continue to stay engaged because of our compelling weekly programs, the opportunity to serve our local and global communities, and perhaps most importantly, because of friendships formed with other Club members. Members have an affinity for the City of Minneapolis and come from all over the Twin Cities to be a part of the Minneapolis City of Lakes Rotary Club.
City of Lakes Rotary Club members are leaders in the community, giving generously of time, talent and funds to benefit those in need both at home and abroad. Our members are passionate about literacy and food insecurity locally and clean water internationally. We help to develop youth to become the leaders of tomorrow and have a strong focus on the continual development of our members-both professionally and personally.
We invite you to join us for breakfast every Wednesday morning from 7:15-8:30 a.m. at the Woman's Club of Minneapolis. Or check out the “Upcoming Events” section of the website and come to a social gathering or community service volunteer event. We look forward to meeting you and showing you what makes the Minneapolis City of Lakes Rotary Club great!
