Rake, Rattle and Roll

Register yourself and guests for our annual Rake, Rattle, & Roll event!  This is a fun, family-friendly and a valuable service project. We will be raking yards for seniors, shut-ins, and other challenged homeowners in the Longfellow-Seward neighborhood of South Minneapolis. This is a rain or shine event, so dress according to the weather conditions. The only thing that would prevent us from raking would be lightning or more than 2 inches of snow on the ground. In the 25 or so years that we have been doing this, we have never had to cancel, so we hope our luck continues!

If you have a rake, please plan on bringing it (it’s ok if you don’t, as you can always help bag the leaves). Leaf blowers also come in handy if you have one. Be sure to mark your rakes with your name and phone number, as they occasionally get left behind. Pro tip:  bring a good pair of gloves.

After raking, you have the option to join us for Jucy Lucys at Matt's Bar and Grill at 11 a.m.. If you wish to attend lunch, please register here https://colrc.org/event/lunch-after-raking-at-matt-s-a-mpls-landmark/  We split the tab evenly among all of us- bring cash!

Note - registrations for lunch may need to be limited so that Matt's can also accomodate their regular customers without inconvenience to them, so your early registration will help us determine if we need to cut off registrations.
