For more than thirty-four years, the Minneapolis City of Lakes Rotary Club has raised funds to help out those in need by having some fun and laughter with our annual Iowa/Minnesota fundraiser. This year, all proceeds are going to our Polio + drive.
As always, there are many ways you can contribute – through a per point basis, by number of touchdowns, heck, you can even put money on a game outside of the Iowa-Minnesota game. And we brought back, by popular demand, the BOWL MADNESS – where you get to select any team you like to make to a bowl game this year… if they do, you get entered into a sweepstakes to win a wonderful scenic plane ride from our very own Mark Labovitz.
We are excited to again be partnering with the Cedar Rapids Rotary Club – one of the largest Rotary Clubs in the country. As part of this partnership, we are adding in a little bit of an incentive to make sure that you give big this year. If we can raise the more money on a per capita basis than the Cedar Rapids Club, then Bob Minish and Kurt Nelson will be adding extra $$ to the grand total – so bet BIG and make Bob and Kurt pay-up!
