Journalism 101: How journalists work amid rising mistrust

Jackie Crosby is a general assignment business reporter who writes about workplace issues. She has worked at the Star Tribune for more than 25 years, and helped launch the newspaper’s first online news site. She began her career writing about sports and has covered retail, health care, city government and the struggles of family caregivers. She was awarded a Pulitzer Prize for Specialized Reporting when she was 23, the youngest ever Pulitzer winner at the time. A native of Jacksonville, Fla., she’s come to love Minnesota’s snowy winters.
