Liz Rammer & Aaron Wicks
The Future of the Hotel Industry in Minnesota

Liz Rammer joined Hospitality Minnesota as its President & CEO in 2018. Previously, she served as a member of the executive management team at Life Link III, a nonprofit air medical transport company headquartered in Minneapolis. Over her 11-year tenure, Liz held three different leadership roles at the Medical Alley (LifeScience Alley) Association and was instrumental in growing the organization to become the largest state-based trade group for healthcare and life sciences companies in the United States. She has over 25 years of marketing/advertising experience holding account management positions at Pointward, Campbell Mithun, Martin/Williams, and Carmichael Lynch. Liz also served as Director of Alumni Relations at Macalester College and began her career in market research. In 2006, Liz was honored with a “Woman to Watch” award by The Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal. She holds an MSA degree from Northwestern University and a BA from Lawrence University.

Aaron Wicks has spent 20+ years in the hospitality and restaurant industry primarily in the Minneapolis and Bloomington markets. Over the past  years he has been with Graduate hotels in the role of Managing Director overseeing a region of 7-10 properties. They have grown from a portfolio of 9 hotels in 2018 up to 30+ in 2021, he has been involved in all aspects from renovations, development, recruitment and overall property performance. He is a lifelong resident of MN, as he grew up in southern Minnesota (LeSueur) and graduated from the University of MN with a degree in Economics with minors in Finance and Spanish. While not working he enjoys spending time with his two sons who are active in hockey, swimming, baseball and football. He also enjoying biking and running.
