TO THE MEMBERS OF ROTARY CLUB OF MINNEAPOLIS CITY OF LAKES:
This serves as notice that the Board of Directors has recommended that the Members of the Club amend the Club’s bylaws by adopting the following resolution:
RESOLVED, that the Club’s bylaws be amended by adding a new Article XIX reading as follows:
ARTICLE XIX
NAME
The name of the Club is “Rotary Club of Minneapolis City of Lakes.” The Club may also do business under the names “Minneapolis City of Lakes Rotary Club” and “City of Lakes Rotary Club.”
The purpose is to codify names under which the Club operates other than its official name “Rotary Club of Minneapolis City of Lakes.” This is being done to satisfy requirements of the Club’s banks. Our bylaws require a minimum of 10 days’ notice before a vote. The vote on the proposed amendment will be conducted during the Club’s regular meeting on Wednesday, December 2.
