Special Offsite Meeting

Due to the legislature being on summer hours, the Capitol does not open until 8:00am.

The capitol underwent a $310 million comprehesive repair and restoration project improving functionality and safety while preserving architectural integrity. It now offers more public space, and the building's historic furniture, artwork and interior decorations have been restored to their 1905 appearance. Come for a special guided tour at our regular club meeting time. Roger Aronson, Attorney and Lobbist for the Minnesota Principals organizations and the Minnesota High School League will be our host and tour guide. He has vast knowledge of the capitol, history and the functions of lawmakers having served in this capacity for over 40 years.

Metered parking is available on the Capitol Complex and the Anderson or Centennial Parking Ramps are recommended. For a map please visit capitolcomplexparkingmap_tcm1041-202662_tcm1041-202662.pdf (mn.gov)  Enter the capitol through the main entrance. The address is 75 Dr. Martin Luther King Blvd. St. Paul, MN 55155

Meet on the Front Steps of the Capitol promptly at 8:00am and we will move to the basement cafeteria (which has a very interesting history!) for a quick cup of coffee and pastry. (We cannot eat while touring.)
