HUGE Improv Theater

Jill Bernard is the Director of Education & Board Treasurer HUGE Improv Theater. HUGE was founded by improvisers Jill Bernard, Joe Bozic, Mike Fotis, Nels Lennes, and Butch Roy in 2005, and moved into its first long-term home at 3037 Lyndale Avenue in 2011. It is the only theater in the Twin Cities dedicated exclusively to teaching and performing long-form improvisation. HUGE is proud to be host to over 500 shows and 600 students per year, and an ever-growing, ever-diversifying community of performers and enthusiasts. We are also host to improv festivals such as The Twin Cities Improv Festival, The Black and Funny Improv Festival, and The Tiny Funny Fest. We believe firmly that improv should be theater for everyone, regardless of race, gender, orientation, disability status, or background, and we are working hard and constantly to live up to that ideal.
